REGULATIONS FOR DOG ENTRY AT MAYIS HOTEL
We reserve the right to admit pets based on management’s discretion and policies. The priority is the comfort and tranquility of all our guests.
To enjoy our dog friendly service, the following criteria must be met, without exception:
- Make a reservation through our phone number (951-206-9660) or WhatsApp number (951-145-0261), notifying that you wish to bring your dog. Only one pet per room is allowed, and the pet must weigh a maximum of 20kg or be medium size/breed.
- Wait for confirmation of the reservation by e-mail, which will authorize the entry to the facilities.
- Upon arrival, present the updated vaccination record (valid within a maximum of seven months prior to the visit), along with a collar, leash and muzzle (if necessary). Otherwise, access will not be allowed.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that the pet has identification on its collar, including the owner’s name and phone number.
- At the time of registration, a regulation will be provided for your signature and the corresponding fee will be charge. The cost is $300.00 MXN per day (taxes included), as long as the vaccination card or medical certificate is presented. Otherwise, the cost will be $500.00 MXN, and you will be required to sign for the charge to be applied at the time of registration.
- Sign a liability release form with a payment guarantee through a credit card in case the dog causes damage to the hotel facilities and/or to third-party belongings.
- Be a responsible pet owner and:
– Accept the room assigned by the hotel.
– Ensure that your pet does not disturb the peace and safety of other guests or other pets.
– Always keep your pet on a leash in any area of the hotel, and muzzle if necessary, under the constant supervision of an adult.
– Bring all essential accessories, as we do not provide or sell leashes or toys.
– Take your pet outside for bathroom breaks, following the public space coexistence rules, and dispose of any waste responsibly.
– Always keep your pet under adult supervision.
– Do not leave your pet alone in the car or in the room.
– Ensure your pet it is clean before entering.
– Provide your pet’s food.
- Pets are not allowed to remain inside the room without the owner present, nor during room cleaning. The pet must be outside the room for housekeeping to do the cleaning.
- The hotel disclaims all responsibility for illness, loss or death of your pet.
- In the event of complaints from other guests or non-compliance with this regulation, the hotel management may request that you take the pet out from the premises within 24 hours after being notified.
- If, despite all precautions, your dog bites a person or another dog, you will be responsible for accompanying them immediately to the hospital, bringing the vaccination record of the threatening dog. You must cover 100% of the medical expenses caused by the injuries and take the pet out from the premises within the next 24 hours, complying with legal requirements.
- Pets other than dogs are not allowed.
- Wild animals, endangered species, and animals prohibited by law are not allowed. Examples of prohibited animals include parrots, lapwings, toucans, goldfinches, monkeys, turtles, boas, snakes, lizards, tigers, foxes, among others.
These rules are designed so that we can all live together in conformity. If they are not respected, the hotel administration reserves the right to cancel the service to the pet owner.
Mayis Hotel reserves the right to modify this regulation at any time, as well as admit or request the removal of owners and their pets, based on the management’s discretion and policies. The priority is the comfort and tranquility of all our guests.
