Hotel Mayis Regulations and Rules
I.- REGISTRATION
Every guest, whether individual or group, must fill out a registration form individually or one for each room, which will be provided upon arrival at the hotel reception.
II.- GUEST INFORMATION OBLIGATIONS
It is the guests’ responsibility to inform the hotel management about any contagious illnesses, deaths, infractions, or crimes occurring in the premises and within their knowledge so that the hotel may take timely measures and notify to the appropriate authorities when necessary.
If any guest becomes ill, the hotel reception will contact a doctor, and the guest may be taken care of in their room at their own expense. If the illness is contagious, the guest will be transferred at their own cost to the appropriate hospital.
III.- GUEST CHECK-IN AT THE HOTEL
The check-in time to access the room will be from 3:00 PM, and the check-out time must be no later than 12:00 PM. Otherwise, an additional night will be charged. If, for personal reasons, the guest needs to check-in after 6:00 PM, they must notify the hotel 24 hours in advance.
We recommend that guests check the room inventory upon arrival as it will be inspected again at the time of check-out. In case of missing items or damages, the guest will be responsible for replacing them with an identical product or, if not possible, covering their cost.
IV.- USE OF SERVICES
The services (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the hotel must be used in accordance with the good faith practices, even when included in the room rate, without waste or disproportionate use. Help us maintain affordable rates and care for the environment.
Guests are requested to use the room’s furniture in a moderate and responsible manner, ensuring proper care. Additionally, when leaving the room, it is mandatory to close the windows, doors, water taps, and turn off the lights.
V.- STAY AT THE HOTEL
Guests may bring their room keys with them or leave them at the reception desk until 8:00 PM every time they leave the premises. Guests are not allowed to accommodate in their rooms anyone other than the registered guests. In any case, the administration must be notified in advance of any changes in the number or identity of the originally registered guests.
Visitors of guest are not allowed to stay overnight, nor may individuals other than those who made the reservation use the hotel services. The hotel may not be used as a place for conducting commercial transactions.
Under no circumstances may the number of guests staying in each room exceed the capacity assigned by the hotel for each room.
VI.- HOTEL ACCESS
The hotel will be open to the public from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. If a guest wants to enter or leave after 10:30 PM, they must ring the bell at the main door. Access after this time will be exclusively managed by the hotel staff.
VII.- ROOM CLEANING
Room cleaning will be done in the morning, between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Guests who do not vacate rooms during this time will not receive cleaning services.
Guests, whether individuals or groups, are informed that the room linens will be changed every third night of stay.
VIII.- SECURITY MEASURES
Guests must keep their valuables out of reach of others. The hotel is not responsible for the loss or misplacement of jewelry or other valuables left in the rooms.
IX.- SILENCE AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF
Starting at 10:00 PM, noise levels must be moderate in all rooms. Please also respect silence in the hallways and stairways. Absolute silence is requested from 12:00 AM. Any disruptive actions that may disturb other hotel guests must be avoided.
X.- DAMAGE, MESS, AND LOST KEYS
In the event of damage to the property or hotel furniture, as well as loss of keys, the person responsible must pay for the damages caused. Such payments must be made immediately and in cash (in the case of groups, the organizer or representative will be held responsible). Theft or intentional damage will be reported to the police immediately. It is prohibited to carry out any act that causes damage to the hotel or other guests, or any behavior contrary to decorum.
XI.- MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
The hotel does not authorize access to rooms by individuals not approved by the guest. Likewise, individuals representing the hotel or providing services related to the accommodation will have free access to rooms occupied by guests.
if guests are absent for more than 24 hours without prior notice to the administration, the accommodation may be terminated or suspended, and the luggage will be collected.
XII.- ACCIDENTS OR INCIDENTS WITHIN THE HOTEL
The hotel is not responsible for any accidents or incidents that guests may experience on the premises, such as falls, injuries, animal bites, among others. Any expenses resulting from these incidents will be covered by the guest, releasing the hotel from any legal liability.
XIII.- PARKING
The hotel offers parking for guests, allowing one vehicle per room. Guests must provide their vehicle keys both at the parking area and at the reception to ensure proper placement and maneuvering.
XIV.- PROHIBITIONS
- The consumption of toxic drugs, narcotics or psychotropic substances is prohibited in all areas of the hotel. Any violation will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Disrupting order or causing disturbances to other guests within the establishment is prohibited, as is using electrical outlets or mechanical equipment in rooms for purposes other than their intended use.
- The hotel is 100% smoke free. A $1,000.00 MXN fee will be applied if smoking occurs inside the room or in common areas.
- Pets other than dogs are not allowed.
XV.- REGARDING PETS
The entry of dogs is prohibited without prior authorization from management, which is subject to an additional fee. For more information, please consult the Hotel Mayis’ Dog Entry Regulations.
XVI.- NON-COMPLIANCE WITH HOTEL RULES
In the event of a breach of one or more of the conditions and prohibitions mentioned above, the hotel reserves the right to immediately terminate the accommodation contract. The guest will still be required to pay for the full duration of the stay as specified in the reservation.
The rights of the establishment and other guests to report to the relevant authorities any actions that constitute a crime or could result in liability for any party, as long as they occur within the hotel, are reserved.
IMPORTANT:
It is understood that by confirming the reservation, the guest acknowledges and expressly or implicitly agrees to fully accept the internal regulations of Hotel Mayis, being in full agreement with all the points mentioned above.
